Want to Help?
Do you feel that everyone that wants a job should have the opportunity to obtain meaningful employment?
Are you mortified by the fact that there were more than 1,000 children identified as homeless in the Madison school district last year or that more than 2,000 people were turned away from Madison shelters due to overcrowding?
Ways you can help:
Consider a job seeker working with EmployAbility for your employment needs.
If you have an apartment for rent contact EmployAbility to help house a person who is experiencing homelessness.
Make a donation of clothing to EmployAbility. Clothing will be given to people who are in need of interview and job search attire. Call or email EmployAbility to set up a drop off time.
Volunteer your time: help in a variety of ways including reaching out to employers to promote hiring people with disabilities, research employment opportunities and complete employment applications for consumers.
Make a monetary donation to EmployAbility to assist in the start-up of the RentAbility workshop at The Salvation Army of Dane County and the downtown Madison library.
